About Alternating Current’s Pushcart Prize Nominations

We here at Alternating Current Press feel that it is highly important to reward our authors with every possible chance for recognition of their fine crafts. We are pleased to announce that we have been nominating our authors’ work for the legendary Pushcart Prize since 1993, and we wish our writers the best of luck in the award process. The Pushcart Prize is an annual monetary award and anthology curated and hosted by Pushcart Press, honoring the best writing in the small press. Independent publishers are invited to nominate 6 pieces of writing published on their presses in the previous year.
